FIEMME VALLEY (TN)

Fiemme Valley is a community of about 21.000 inhabitants and 1.800 commercial customers, always very attentive to environmental issues. This is confirmed by the decision of the municipality to introduce a partial waste collection system in 2004, which has recently been extended to a full service with door-to-door collection.

Sartori Ambiente Group supported Fiemme Servizi by the organization of the door-to-door collection service, providing the necessary containers, which allowed for the elimination of all street bell jars located in the territory.

Three containers were distributed to each family: one 120-litres trolley container for plastic packaging and cans and two 30-litres stackable containers for paper and glass respectively. Also the aerated kitchen caddies for the collection of the organic fraction have been provided.

Moreover, faithful to the “pay as you throw” philosophy, Fiemme Servizi has chosen the synergies of Sartori Ambiente Group for the accounting of every single emptying by the user. The reading system designed and realized by Altares has been installed on the collection vehicles, thus allowing the recording of the emptyings through the detection of the UHF TAG installed in the collection equipment.

The integrated solution proposed by Sartori Ambiente Group allows its customers to work with a unique and reliable partner throughout the whole chain, from the collection of waste to the management of data from RFID equipment.
